Do you have a busy work schedule that makes it difficult to devote time to train your dog? Do you have a dog that pulls on the leash when you go for a walk, jump all over guests when they come over, or try to run away when you call them to come to you? Do you want to help your dog fulfill their physical and mental needs but aren’t sure where to start? Our board and train programs are for you!

Since your dog gets to stay with us for the program, they will receive hours of specialized training that may otherwise take weeks to accomplish on your own. You will receive a go home lesson upon pick up to learn what your dog has been taught and make it easy to continue the training at home!

Training includes heel by your side on walks, come when called, sit/stay with door manners, and ridding of unwanted behaviors like jumping on guests. We offer several different packages to cater to you and your dog’s specific needs.

Our facility is located on our own 8 acre property in Terre Haute to create a home away from home while your dog stays with us for training. We have an indoor training facility, as well as a fully fenced in yard for play times and potty breaks. Your dog gets to stay inside our home while they are with us for training providing quality comfort and supervision. Top Dog ensures a comfortable and practical training environment within the home treating your dog as our own while they learn with us.

We understand that dog training is a continuous learning experience and will provide phone call support anytime as needed after your dog has gone home. Every package comes with an e-book with an abundance of information and tips on how to continue training at home. Top Dog also offers weekly group classes exclusively to our board and train clients. This allows you to continue your training journey with us after your dog has completed our program whenever you feel like you have questions or need a refresher.
